Our boys whom we sent to the Universities to study are now living in hotels doing Yahoo, defrauding people. They are not studying. They are sorting. Bribing lecturers for pass. They only come into the campus with convoy once in a while to show off. Guess what? Some lecturers are even worshipping them.
Our young sons even idle & artisans are now driving Benz in the university & in our neighborhood. They are now the latest boys in Town.
The houses our sons are living in the university are now flats and duplexes as against the self-contained we used to know. Well furnished and more beautiful compared to room of some state governors.
Our sons are all married in the university but single at home. Girls crawl around them... living with them, cooking for them, doing all sort of things with them to boost d boys business...
These girls are our daughters too whom we sent to the university to study as well. They are in every clues and hotel....they are in every front cars, fastening seatbelts, snapping and moving their lips like ndị ogbi.
My recent research in d Nigerian universities opened my eyes to the recent ugly reality. I wept for the future of my Fatherland!
They are in their early 20s & teenagers not much of adults.
Guess what?
Yet we still see them as children who knows nothing. They are recruiting more of youths into dis new wave of employment, preparing d future leaders to be yahoo boys, very soon, we shall witness a country led by yahoo boys niconpus & vagabonds!
I don't want to mention names of hotels in ikoyi, Ikeja ,Victoria island, Surulere & around various universities- they park their luxurious cars there b4 coming home. you will see your sons and daughters, They have been living there for months. Nobody is going to school or learning handwork anymore. Who does school helps now? Or u Don't you get it?
Those teenagers— boys and girls are abusing drugs now. Fa na-ese gwoogwo n'igbo. Not just igbo-marijuana but cocaine, colorado, tramadols etc. I have boarded a vehicle with a young girl in UNN who had some crack (cocaine) in her purse. Because she's too beautiful, police that stopped us to search didn't search her but searched us all.
On the way, she brought it out, gently fix some into her nose and threw the little remaining substance through the window. I remained deaf and dumb until I got to my destination and i paused, she paused; both of us paused.
Worst of it all, we parents of these generation are d ones promoting it, ask me why? When they bring d huge money & d big cars what do u do? When u re paying WASC/GCE special centres or bribing ur children into universities, what do u think u re doing? u re simply destroying d future of our country & breeding yahoo boys & girls into d generation next!
Who will save this generation who painfully are our tomorrow now???....
Time to do or saying something.....
