UPDATE: Homewood police have made an arrest in connection to the death of Johnnie Will Anderson III. Anderson’s decomposing body was found inside his apartment last Friday at the Parc at Buckingham off of Aspen Circle.
Homewood police identified the suspect as Alexandria Nicole Davis, 29 of Birmingham. Davis has been charged with capital murder by a deadly weapon/asphyxiation according to police. Davis is already in jail on an unrelated charge. Alabama Court documents show Davis is facing an attempted murder charge out of Birmingham in connection to the stabbing of a woman that happened Saturday, September 11th. Jail records show Davis has also been charged with obstructing justice, for providing a false identity during an arrest, and drug charges. There’s no bond for the capital murder charge. Jail records also showed Davis had a bond totaling $165,000 for the other charges.
