A Delta couple, Asiayei Enaibo and Emily Ekanpou, defied the flood currently ravaging Akparemogbene community and performed their traditional marriage rites. 

The traditional marriage ceremony was held on Thursday, November 3, 2022, in Ayakoromo, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta state. 

The couple and their guests took a boat to the platform constructed in the middle of the flooded communty for the ceremony.
