To achieve efficient and effective service delivery to residents and stakeholders in Agege community in the year 2022; the council held a stakeholders meeting to brainstorm with community members to enable the council fulfil all righteousness towards next fiscal year. The stakeholders meeting was held at the council Secretariat on Thursday, 9 December, 2021. At the event, the council boss, *Alhaji Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi (JP)* in his address delivered by the Vice Chairman, *Hon. Oluwagbenga Abiola,* emphasized on the need for the Stakeholders meeting towards the formulation of the budget, which will assist in having an all encompassing and inclusive budget that will impact the life of the residents and stakeholders in the community.
*Hon. Abiola* hampered on the various programmes of the present administration that are been collated in the year 2022 budget that covers a wider and areas, which include: Infrastructure, agricultural development,Youth development and improved health facilities. On the part of the management, the council manager and H.O.D. Budget who spoke in same vein, enjoined the stakeholders to work with the council's authority in ensuring a fruitful budget for the year 2022. The management reiterated that no government can perform optimally without the input of the residents and business owners through revenue generation.
They therefore appealed to the stakeholders to ensure prompt payment of local council levies and charges to the council pause, as this will assist in fulfilling their promises to the electorate. During the contributions and suggestions session, stakeholders present, which includes the Baale in Council, market leaders, Security Operatives, community development committee (CDC) representatives, League of Imams, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), captains of industries, party leaders, civil society organisations and Youths representatives all lend their voices to the deliberations, which the council authority noted and assured them of working with their respective submissions.
