Fan Laments As Burna Boy Comes Late For Abuja Concert
A fan of Burna Boy’s music and popular tweep, Henry (@4eyedmonk) has lamented the lateness of the musician for his show in Abuja.
According to Henry, the artiste got on stage at 3:25 a.m. on Thursday for a show that was meant to have started earlier.
He chronicled his experience thus, “Nearly 3am and the closest we have seen to Burna Boy is Mama Burna. We should have brought beds.
“It is 3:03am. DJ has run out of songs to play, he is nearly at 1980 songs. Hype men done tire. Yet no #burnaboy
“This is the height of irresponsibility. But guess what? It is us mumus that have spent our hard earned money to come here that are even more irresponsible.
“At 3:25am, the said #burnaboy crawled unto the stage…well let me enjoy my money and my last Naija ariste concert.
“3:30am…I guess I have had enough. Off to bed. This irresponsibility of Naija artists should not be encouraged.”(sic)
Similar complaints had trailed Burna Boy’s show in Lagos but he had won fans over with his live performance.
