Congratulations to Halima Cisse, who has given birth to five girls and four boys.
Mali’s government flew her out to Morocco for specialist care where the nonuplets were born by Caesarean section. They are all said to be doing well.
Doctors had only seen seven babies on the scan, so she’s got two extra flights to pay for on the way home (just kidding).
They are expected to spend several weeks in hospital before returning home to Mali – good luck to Halima and her family!
