ASABA – The decomposing body of a missing 50-year-old, Mrs Patience Komone has been found dead in a bush at Umeh community of Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.

The deceased was allegedly murdered by a 17-year-old boy identified as Onoriode Simon Akpoavirhi.
t was gathered that Umeh community youths irked by the incident immediately dispatched some youths in the community to investigate the incident and one Onoriode Simon Akpoavirhi was discovered to have been the last person seen with the deceased.
It was gathered that community youths apprehended the suspect and interrogated him where he confessed to taking the woman to a pepper farm with his motorcycle under the guise of wanting to sell fresh pepper to her.
It was also learnt that the suspect confessed that he stole the deceased’s money after killing her to buy some musical instrument.
The suspect confessed to Umeh community youths that he killed the woman.
Confirming the incident, leader of Umeh community, Chief Duncan Afahokor confirmed the discovery of the decomposing body of the deceased.
He revealed that the suspect was arrested by youths in the community who saw the deceased with the suspect.
Commissioner of Police, Ali Muhammed Ari confirmed the discovery of the decomposing body of the woman.
He revealed that the suspect acted in connivance wit one Akpoghene Shoemaker who is not at large.
He also disclosed that the private parts and eyes of the deceaded were removed by the suspect who confessed to selling them for N 100,000.
