A popular TikToker known as ‘Disturbing’ has tragically passed away while broadcasting live on social media.
The incident occurred on Thursday at his home in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
A viral video captured the final moments of the content creator, who appeared visibly distressed before suffering a seizure and collapsing. He was well-known in his community as both a cobbler and a musician, and was also recognized for his involvement in the Justice For Mohbad movement. He was also affectionately called ‘Buckle.’
The wife of the deceased, identified only as Omowunmi, took to TikTok to share her grief, revealing that her husband had struck his head on a stone when he collapsed. She explained that she was in the kitchen preparing his meal when neighbors alerted her to the incident.
In her TikTok post, Omowunmi recounted the events leading up to his death: “Yesterday morning, my husband was live on TikTok while I was cooking. Suddenly, he had a seizure, fell, and hit his head on a stone. Blood was coming from his head.
A young boy and some neighbors passing by saw him, thinking he had fainted, and started pouring water on him. The boy ran inside to get me.”
She continued, “When I got there, I told them to stop and that it was a seizure. We rushed him to the hospital, where they placed him on oxygen. Unfortunately, he passed away this morning.” Omowunmi clarified that this was not the first time her husband had experienced seizures, explaining that he had been on medication for the condition. She also dismissed rumors that his death was the result of a spiritual attack, emphasizing that the issue was purely medical.
“The last time he had a seizure was in February. I’ve never left him alone because of this.
If I had been with him, I would have caught him during the seizure,” she added.
