INTRODUCTION
The Afrowood Cultural and Film Village lies between the Alantic Ocean and the Alape River. With Atlantic Ocean been a few kilometers away thus setting the pavilion for a good scenario of a lovely ocean view with the sheer pleasure of taking stroll along the beach, with the luxuriant vegetation make the atmosphere to be serene and cozy. So we promise you many kilometres of lovely Warm Ocean all year round, a sky painted in subtle water colors or splashed in grandiose shades. The sheer pleasure is just taking a stroll along the beach or rolling in the waves. The supreme leizure of lazing or practicing a sport.
In the early morning, standing just by the Alape river bank, in the pearly light of dawn, one feels like this is the very first morning ever. Canoes from the waterside village glide silently by. The fishermen cross the bar with their paddles swinging to the rhythm of their song. This is where the African Version of Hollywood is waiting just for you. Our charming hotel hidden in the luxuriant vegetation, a land where you are totally free, just a day in our village and you will never forget that you have been there.

of Afrowood Cultural & Film Village
MISSION
Afrowood mission is to serve as the representative for all other film villages in Africa much more a multipurpose cum world class Centre for international and local productions. It is an institution where learning and training would take place, also a Centre where various seminars, workshops and conferences would hold in film making. We hope to train our students in the proper way of Camera blocking, Script writing, the technique of pyrotechnics, smoke, special effects and spectacular stunts.
This is a location that is situated in a natural setting. An arena where there will be synergy of efforts, a melting pot for collaborations of great ideas and for promotion and networking of talents pool between and among diverse film makers of the world from Cairo to Cape town, from Dakar to Dares-Salam from Canada to Colombia from Austria to Australia. The situation of this project in OLOKOLA is to ultimately make it a tourist friendly, open up business and investment and entertainment and cultural destination
Afrowood Film Village intends to take African films to the next level. Its technology is going to be state of the art technology for its film making and entertainment. We want to be in the fore front of providing and using solid and high class infrastructure for our films, music, television, and host of other allied products. In addition there would also be a residential area, holiday and resort area, for the relaxation of tourist, worldwide.
There are a lot of good and bright prospects for this project, more also it is situated in an enabling environment of Nigeria, the home of Nollywood where films and entertainment is gradually growing on a steady progress. It is by no means a flash in the pan that Nigeria’s Nollywood is grabbing attention worldwide. But then we want to gravitate towards Hollywood and Bollywood reputation. Therefore, it is in this direction, that this private initiative needs total supports from local and international investors.
The co-habitation of both French filmmakers and the English filmmakers for the first time will really make the difference between Afrowood and Nollywood.
Afrowood international plan to strengthen cultural and commercial relations between Swedish film industry and Nollywood. We hope that this project will help Swedish Filmmakers, animators and other audio-visual professionals to learn new skills, and promote the industry, by cooperating with professionals outside Sweden, and vice-versa. The benefits of the project thus include joint training, reciprocal promotion, distribution and film screenings and other actions to encourage audiences in Sweden and abroad to discover foreign films. This project we hope will open a total new market for Swedish films. The Swedish technology plus the Nigerian tireless efforts, eagerness and population will make an industry that will compete favourably with Hollywood.

• To create an atmosphere for relaxation and fun.
• To Promote Collaborations between the African Youths and that of the rest part of the world
