ECOLOGICAL   DEVASTATION OF ILAJE. AND  MATTERS ARISING.  


   The resources of our land Ilaje. Such as aquatic  organisms and oil exploitation The oil exploitation and aquatic organisms is a major income  Ilaje  people  and also bring about development to Ilaje land. 

   But now water is everywhere not even drinkable,no more fishes and other aquatic organisms caused by the sea shaw opened and allows sea water to move into the communities. This has chased our fishes and other aquatic organisms and the movement of the speed boats, has lead to deepest of our river. And made our river deep. In our fathers days they catches bigs fishes like brown snapper, African river pike e t c but now we don't even see them anymore.

   Now take a look of our communities e.g Ayetoro,  Awoye, Molutehin. The sea has completely destroies this communities. Network service is flooded with water. The sea has destroies a lot of houses there. The oil exploitation has made the communities to sinked and this is affecting our communities and environments.

      This affect our land here in Ilaje, because the oil exploitation is puring in our land and this is not making our plant to germinate and this oils is puring into our river. The oil kills a lot of our fishes and our animals drinks from these water and it kills our animals this has made our animals ran away from our land Ilaje. This oil exploitation is the major thing that is affecting us in our communities and this oil exploitation has made our communities sinked which is affecting the environment. 

    MATTERS  ARISING

        The government they lack of intervention they don't  recognize us  and they don't  intervenes in our matters and is affecting us because water is the major problem that is affecting us so here in Ilajeland government are not providing it.

           The electricity, we have no electricity in Ilaje land, which is not good because it is the duty of Ondo state government or federal government to provide electricity to the people of ilaje so that will we have lights to read our books at night and other house chores but the government did not provide standard and stable electricity for us which is not good and they are the one to provide electricity which will make Ilaje land brighter and beautiful.

        We have no good road in Ilaje here, which is not good because we are transporting our goods through water and this damages our goods. It is not bad for the government to provide good road for us in Ilaje so that we will have the easiest means of transportation.

           Our telecomunication is not good at all because it is cracking, The government should be the one to provide standard and stable network for us so that we will be able to reach ourselves immediately but we don't even see the hands of the government and this is affecting us in Ilaje here,

           The contractor are the unvaluable  people, the government are giving them money for project , but this contractors are corrupting the money given to them by the government for project, They can start the project to window level and abadon the project and they will go back to office that they have completed the project. This has even completely damages Ilaje land.

           The government refuse to fulfill their promises , if that the government are fulfilling their promises, Ilaje land would have been developed.
