OUR CULTURE AND TRADITION IN THE FACE OF CIVILIZATION AND TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT.

FIRST AND FOREMOST WHAT IS THE POPULAR DEFINITION OF CULTURE.
Culture is the total life of people in a particular place.

WHAT IS THE BEST DEFINITION OF CULTURE?
Culture is the holistic combination of learned, shared of belief, value, practice that create cohesion in a group.
GREETING:now a days our youth do not longer greet elders which is not supposed to be so. Here in Ilaje,we greet our elders in the morning, afternoon and evening. Take for instance,in the morning,E-kaaro sir/ma and the elders will respond kaaro o ji re and you will say Amin.
We can all see that the our greetings attached to prayer.
DRESSING: our dressing here in ilaje is Iro, buba and gele.while for the male is dasiki, trousers and Fila (CAP).
Dressing:is what we use to recognise student, uniform Man etc. In the olden days jss 1_final year student can write a letter. But when CIVILISATION AND TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT take place final year student can not even write simple and correct sentences talkless of writing a letter, compositions and essay.
Since civilization has taken place student do not longer face their studies they will be pressing handset busing playing games, watching TikTok, Instagram etc.
This take us to what we called dressing.
Civilization and technological advancement has taken away our dressings. Now a days the ladies will dress indecently they will ware micro mini skirt, craw top and Born Short.

This take us to a story of that happened in the University of Ibadan. This story is about a girl in the school campus , whose light have issues that night. So she decided to charge her phone in the next room which happens to be a male room before she went there she decided to change her dress

to bounce short and craw top. On getting there the man there thought she didn't come to charge her phone, so he forcefully raped her. As a result of this, she went to a police station and report the matter. The police arrested the man and he was tortured. The girl weep and weep because she is still a virgin. But people advice her that what you have loose you can not get it back. This is as a result of civilization and technological advancement. While for the male they dress
like a person that has mental problem. They will ware crazy jeans, they will even be zagging.there is a popular says that says if you ware crazy jeans that means you are crazy.
Civilization and technological advancement has taken our culture and traditions.

In conclusion i will advise people not to let our culture and traditions tanished because of civilization and technological advancement.
