The good people of ondo town in ondo state south west Nigeria have not forgotten their roots both in the diaspora and other parts of Nigeria they ensure to assemble annually in celebration of their heritage. So it was this year a week long event that began on the 29th of November ending with a grand finale on the 4th day of December 2021.
Many activities to mark the auspicious occasion culminating in a gala night with the king of juju music KING SUNNY ADE himself a proud son of Ondo dishing out his much loved tunes to an appreciative audience. For a first time visitor such as myself being present at this awesome celebration of a people's heritage is indeed a privilege that I am grateful to have.
