*THIS IS TO INFORM ALL ILAJE YOUTH THAT THE NATIONWIDE ILAJE YOUTH SUMMIT WILL BE HELD ON 13TH AUGUST, 2021 AT IGBOKODA CIVIC CENTRE HALL BY 2PM*
Having identified all major challenges facing ilaje local government and its environs, which most importantly facing the youth, all the Youth of Ilaje Local Government are invited to the Ilaje Youth Summit where all challenges will be addressed.
An umbrella body known as Ilaje Youth Council (IYC) which will be speaking on behalf of the entire youth of ilaje local government home and abroad will also be introduced to all.

Otherwise known as IYC.
FUNDAMENTAL OBJECTIVES AND DIRECTIVE PRINCIPLE
i. To create an avenue for enable environment to enhance laudable development, and see to the welfarism of all Ilaje Youth.
ii. To condemn and oppose any type of discrimination, Ilaje dichotomy, injustice, oppression and victimization of ilaje youth.
iii. To produce an efficient and effective governing body for the entire Ilaje youth
iv. To promote unity among ilaje youth and reposition it for sustainable development in facing the future challenges, and represent the interest of Ilaje youth home and abroad.
V. To recognize and overlook the activities of Ilaje Patriotic Movement (Gwamas), National Association of Ilaje Student's (NAIS NB) Niger Delta Youth Movement (NDYM), Mahin Aheri Etikan Youth, and Federation of Ugbo Youth, in order to calm any arriving dispute causing unrest at where necessary.
vi. To rehabilitate and empower ilaje youth found wanting, and Polish them for better tomorrow
