Today, the 13th of June 2022 marks a day after the Democracy day in Nigeria which held on the 12th of June, yesterday.
A ceremony to commemorate the day was slated to hold at Eagle's square in Abuja which also featured a military parade.
The event had commenced with the president giving his speech in honour of the day when pandemonium suddenly occurred at certain parts of the square.
Medical officers and other officers were reported to be seen carrying stretchers to move those who had collapsed to the tents for urgent medical attention.
The three military personnel said to have fainted were successfully resuscitated by the medical team.
The Democracy day ceremony held featured a lot of events and display with a lot of dignitaries present including former president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, president of the senate, Ahmad Lawan, speaker of the house of representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, the national chairman of the ruling party, Abdullahi Adamu amongst others.
