Popular Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, known as Rema has stated in an interview why he opted for the University of first choice as his tertiary institution amongst a host of other universities.
He made this known on the Rubbin Minds show hosted by the known Big Brother Naija host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu aired on Channels TV.
Previous tweets by the singer made it public his decision to study at the University of Lagos. He is currently enrolled in the department of Creative Art.
As to why he chose the University, he stated that aside his music career, he is mostly based in Lagos and it only made sense that he would attend a school in Lagos.
Previously, the singer called out to ASUU for the strike to be called off and had other universities reaching out to him to attend their schools.

The singer's latest album, Raves and Roses has currently generated more than 70 million streams on the popular song listening app, Spotify.
